The American Chestnut Foundation will hold a Chestnut Science Summit webcast on Friday, December 11th from 11:30 to 12:30 pm
Participants are invited to ask scientists any and all questions related to ACF’s ambitious restoration mission. Please email your questions ahead of time to for the best chance of having them answered during the live discussion.
Topic ideas? How to plant chestnuts, what is the latest on the transgenic tree regulatory process, how is the long-range reintroduction going? Just to name a few.
Panelists for the webcast will include TACF’s Jared Westbrook, Sara Fitzsimmons, Kendra Collins, and Tom Saielli; and Andy Newhouse from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
