Forest Photography is an effective medium for informing and conveying interpretive messages about our changing forests.
The Forest Stewards Guild will hold a Communicating Forestry – Every Picture Tells A Story, Don’t It? webinar on February 27th from 7 to 8:30 pm ET.
Understanding how to photograph, frame and cut through the visual chaos inherent in many forests, requires an opening up of the visual and intellectual senses, heart and mind – important keys to creating human receptivity and connectivity to information and ideas about forests and forestry. As Rod Stewart sang, “Every picture tells a story, don’t it?”
Participants in this Photography webinar are invited to submit one forest photograph to Roger Merchant via rogmerch@gmail.com. Please submit your image to Roger by February 14th. We will use your forest images for demonstration and discussion purposes. We likely won’t go through all the images so hit us with your best forest shot
