Vermont Forest Parks & Recreation
The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation will hold a Consulting Forester Meeting at the Canadian Club on East Montpelier Road in Barre, VT on May 27th from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Hosted by VT Department of Forests, Parks & Rec, this is a chance for consulting foresters to come together.
This meeting will touch on the new UVA Standards, but will not be focused on them. Topics will include upcoming funding opportunities for landowners, foresters, and loggers; findings from a recent report about Vermont’s forest economy; lessons learned from SLoCAMP and the Watershed Forestry program, and more.
