Penn State Extension will hold two one-hour Creating Early Successional Habitat for Golden Winged Warblers webinars on December 13th at noon and 7 p.m.

Work at Resica Falls Boy Scouts Reservation through Working Lands for Wildlife, a Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) cost share program has resulted in the creation of 200-acres of warbler habitat to date at the Boy Scout camp.

This webinar, presented by Jeff Larkin from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Bob Hartman from the Cradle of Liberty Council of the Boy Scouts, will provide information about the golden-winged warbler and its habitat needs, and hear from a landowner group that has undertaken activities to improve conditions for the bird.

To take part in the webinars, go to https://meeting.psu.edu/PAForestWeb/  and sign-in as a guest.
