While NJ has become known for mysterious drone sightings, drones can be put to practical use on private woodlands, agricultural lands and ponds for treatment of invasive insects, plants and algae, nutrient applications, damage assessments, mapping, and other applications – especially in difficult to access areas.
The New Jersey Forestry Association will hold a Drones: Better Forest, Farm & Land Management webinar on October 16th from 7 to 8:30 pm.
This webinar will explain how a forester can work with a licensed drone applicator to target applications, reduce insecticide, herbicide and algaecide use, minimize impacts on native ecosystems, assess treatment effectiveness, and know more about your property.
Cameron Rozell of Ag Drones East and Andy Bennett of Ridge and Valley Forest Management join NJFA’s Rich Kelsky for this exploration of how technology can help you manage your land better and easier.
