The Norcross Wildlife Sanctuary will hold an Environmental DNA as a Tool for Mapping Biodiversity in the Vinica Brook Watershed program in person and online on Saturday, March 28th, from 10 to 11 am
This hybrid webinar and in-person session will introduce participants to environmental DNA (eDNA) and demonstrate how we are using this powerful tool to assess biodiversity before the upcoming dam removals. The findings will directly inform our restoration planning and guide future monitoring across the Vinica Brook watershed. For this session, we have invited James Gardner, an eDNA specialist from UMass Amherst who is currently collaborating with us on the Vinica Brook restoration.
Events are free of charge, RSVP required.
