Anyone who spends time in the woods should take precautions to avoid tick bites. Ticks can transmit a host of dangerous diseases.

The New Jersey Forestry Association will hold an Everything About Ticks webinar on Thursday, February 15th, from 7 to 8:30 pm.

In this webinar, Bryan Swinney, owner of Tick and Skeeter Deleter, will discuss Ticks from A to Z, including facts, life cycle, diseases, identification, removal to prevention, and more!

This talk will include information that goes beyond the yard and into the woods, such as recommendations to remove invasive vegetation like barberry to further reduce the tick population.
