Almost daily, news stories break about international agreements, state programs, and new investment companies pursuing carbon credit deals. Maine’s governor created a Climate Council. Yours probably did too. What’s going on? What does it mean for you as a logger or a landowner?
A Forest Carbon in Plain English workshop will be held at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, ME on May 20th from 10 am to Noon.
Lloyd Irland, a Maine consultant, has worked on forest carbon for 30 years. He has conducted training sessions, spoken at woodland owners’ meetings, has been involved in research and consulting projects, and has written many articles about forest carbon. In this workshop, Lloyd and a small panel of experts will offer plain English summaries and answer your questions.
Cost of this workshop is $10
