Forest Health Walk

DCR Forest Health will hold a Forest Health Walk at the Mount Greylock State Reservation in Lanesborough on Friday, April 25^th, from 9 to 11 am.

Forest Health Director Nicole Keleher will lead a hike on a portion of Mt Greylock to identify tree species and forest health issues affecting them.  The walk will discuss Emerald Ash Borer, Beech leaf disease, oak wilt and other issues.

Participants should meet at the Visitors Center at 30 Rockwell Road in Lanesborough.

Participants should be prepared for moderate hike and dress for the weather and for ticks.
