You may have heard forests described as a “natural solution” to climate change. That’s because of their ability to remove carbon from the atmosphere and store it for long periods of time.

New Hampshire Woods & Wildlife: Live! will hold a free Forestry and Climate Change in New Hampshire online program on Facebook on Thursday, November 10th, from 10 to 11 am

On November 10th, join UNH Extension foresters Steven Roberge and Matt Kelly to learn more about the science of forest carbon and the effects that climate change is having on our forests. You’ll also learn about strategies to improve forest resilience and how foresters and landowners are beginning to integrate carbon objectives into their management practices.
