UNH Extension and NHTOA will hold a Forestry Tour at Three Oaks Tree Farm in Hillsborough, NH on Saturday, October 15th from 9 am to noon
Wildlife habitat management is one of the passions of Three Oaks Tree Farm owner, Jack Bronnenberg. Jack manages for multiple use on his property and enjoys the process while using his skills as a logger to see his ideas come to fruition.
Participants on the tour will learn about the many species Jack manages for, how he does it, and the enjoyment he is rewarded with as a result of wildlife and timber management.
What to bring: Sturdy shoes, layered clothing for hiking in the woods, and a water bottle.
Cost: $15 for NHTOA members, $25 for non-members.

Directions: From the East: Take I-89N to Exit 5 (left exit) for US-202 W/NH-9 W Drive 15.9 miles. Turn right onto NH-31 and drive 1.9 miles. Turn right onto Cooledge Rd. Drive approx 2.9 miles. Destination will be on the left past the field. Look for Three Oaks sign and NHTOA sign.
From the West: Take I-89 S to Exit 6. Merge onto NH-127. Drive 3.3 miles. Turn right onto NH-9W/NH-202 W. Drive for 12.4 miles. Turn right on to NH-31 N and drive 1.9. Bear right onto Cooledge Road. Drive approx 2.9 miles. Destination will be on the left past the field. Look for Three Oaks sign and NHTOA sign.
