Franklin Land Trust and Mass Woodlands Institute (MWI) will hold a Forestry Tour & Discussion at the Scheffey Family’s woodland in Leverett on December 10th from 1 to 3 pm.
FLT’s Director of Stewardship Will Sloan Anderson, property owner Liz Scheffey, and her family’s forester Mike Mauri will lead a tour of the Scheffey’s 190+ acre, conserved and managed woodlot in Leverett. Past and future forestry activities will be discussed.
