Great Mountain Forest will host a Great Mountain Forest Walk on part of their property in Canaan, CT on September 3rd from 10 am to noon.

Great Mountain Forest owns and manages 6,000 acres of woodlands in Norfolk & Canaan, CT.  Information about the property can be found at www.greatmountainforest.com

Forester, Matt Gallagher will lead an easy to intermediate hike through Great Mountain Forest, along Chattleton Road to Potter’s Corners. Along the way, he will discuss the land use history, wildlife habitat, and forest management of the property.
