Ground Level Forest Ecology Workshop

The Rhode Island Forest Conservator’s Organization will hold a Ground Level Forest Ecology Workshop on February 10^th from 9 am to Noon at the Scituate Senior Center.

This workshop will include two sessions.

Session 1: What’s in Your Woods? Rhode Island’s Fungi, Ecology, and Community Stewardship, led by Deana Tempest Thomas from the Rhode Island Mycological Society

Session 2: Amphibian and Reptile Life, and the Importance of Protecting Wetland Ecology, led by Michael Cavaliere, Herpetologist. This session includes a Rhode Island Forestry BMP’s Update)
