Vermont Fish & Wildlife and Vermont Forest, Parks & Recreation will hold a Habitats & Harvesting: Forestry Walk for Landowners at the Birdseye Wildlife Management Area in Castleton, VT on Saturday, September 27th from 10 am to Noon.
Join biologist Travis Hart from Vermont Fish & Wildlife, forester Nick Glaser from the National Wild Turkey Federation, and county forester Tessa McGann from VT Forests, Parks and Rec for an educational walk in the Birdseye Wildlife Management Area.
This guided tour will highlight forest management, erosion control designed for forest roads, and improvements in wildlife habitat.
This is a great opportunity to learn in the field and to speak directly with experts and fellow landowners.
