DCR’s Forest Health Program will hold a series of 6 Winter Webinars in December on current forest health threats in Massachusetts.
The fourth webinar on Identifying Oak Wilt Disease will be held on Thursday, December 10th from 7 – 8 p.m.
In this webinar, DCR Forest Health Director, Nicole Keleher, will discuss a potential future threat to Massachusetts oak forests, oak wilt disease. She will discuss what oak wilt disease is, how to identify it, and what is being done to prepare for a potential introduction of this disease in the state.
Professional credits will be available for MCA and ISA CEUs, as well as, 1 contact hour credit for Massachusetts pesticide categories 35, 36, and applicator’s license.
The webinar is open to all and free of charge, but space is limited.
