Opacum Land Trust will hold an Insects Up Close program at the Rapscallion Pub in Sturbridge on Tuesday, January 13th at 6:30 pm
Join New England-based macro-photographer Audrey E. Kali, as she displays her fascinating insect photography and shares insight from her research, focused on the diverse insects of Massachusetts. Audrey is a professor in the Communication Department at Framingham State University, teaching science communication.
Audrey uses her photography skills to connect people with the world around us, allowing us to see our own backyards in ways which we cannot always view through our own eyes. Her work gives us a close-up view on the importance of biodiversity within our insect communities and the crucial roles they play within our ecosystem.
Get to know your backyard neighbors up close and personal, this is an event you do not want to miss! Doors open at 6, talk to begin at 6:30 PM.
