The New Hampshire Butterfly Monitoring Network will hold an Introduction to New Hampshire Butterflies webinar on February 12th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
In this webinar, wildlife biologist Mark Ellingwood, will introduce participants to the recently established New Hampshire Butterfly Network and basic information on butterfly biology and behavior. In addition, participants will receive practical advice on how to identify and photograph butterflies for personal enjoyment and/or for inclusion in New Hampshire’s rapidly growing database of butterfly distribution and relative abundance.
This training is part of a series of five webinars hosted by the NH Butterfly Monitoring Network, a collaborative effort led by NH Fish & Game Department to engage volunteers in counting and identifying butterflies across New Hampshire.
The series will provide information on butterflies in New Hampshire, butterfly biology and identification, and how to get involved with the NH Butterfly Monitoring Network. For more information and to register for the session(s) you want to attend , visit nhbutterflies.org.
