Penn State Extension will hold two one-hour Invasive Forest Insects webinars at noon and 7 p.m. on October 9th.

As emerald ash borer continues to spread across North America, a new pest looms on the horizon: spotted lanternfly. But what’s being done to combat these forest invaders?

Michael Skvarla, Ph.D. Extension Educator, Penn State Department of Entomology, will discuss recent control efforts for emerald ash borer and other established pests, as well as overview spotted lanternfly and other pests on the horizon.
