Do you have invasive plants on your land but aren’t sure what to do about them? Have you tried controlling them but feel like you aren’t making any headway? You’re not alone!
Vermont Land Trust and Women Owning Woodlands will hold an Invasive Plants Workshop for Women on October 14th at Button Farm in Colchester, VT from 9:30 am to Noon.
Join other women for an interactive workshop that will help you develop an invasive plant management plan, including tips on when and how to work with an invasive plant contractor, and learn techniques for controlling several invasive plant species.
The workshop will cover basic identification of some species, including common and glossy buckthorn, Japanese and common barberry, honeysuckle, and poison parsnip. Come ready to share your own tips, tricks or questions.
