Friends of HAY and the Hawlemont Regional School will hold a Knotweed Symposium at the Hawlemont School in Charlemont, MA on June 25th at 6 pm
Japanese Knotweed is called the most invasive plant in the U.S, U. K, and elsewhere.
The symposium will feature:
Brian Colleran, knotweed expert with the NE Regional Invasive Species & Climate Change Network
Kelly Kowal, conservation agent
Jeff Johnston, Shelburne Highway Superintendant
The symposium will discuss possible management options based on plant science and experience.
