What is your forest telling you? How has it evolved over time since European settlement?
New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association will hold a Landscape Interpretation: Clues to Cultural History, Natural and Human Disturbances, Tree Responses and Growth workshop on October 31st from 9 am to Noon off Ames Road in Canterbury, NH.
Naturalist Dave Govatski and Ned Therrien will lead a workshop about how to decipher natural and cultural features on the landscape while exploring the forest and field(s) as we look for cultural imprints, signs of natural and man-made disturbances, changes in structure, topography, and vegetative species and composition.
Can you tell how long it has been since these changes occurred? So many mysteries to explore; we promise no Halloween ghosts!
Cost of this workshop is $25 for NHTOA members, $35 for non-members
To take part in this workshop, register at Landscape Interpretation: Clues to Cultural History, Natural and Human Disturbances, Tree Responses and Growth – New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association
