UNH Extension will hold a Managing Forestland – The Professional | Part 2 workshop on August 11th from 1 to 4 pm at the Robinson Farm on Halls Stream Road in Pittsburg, NH.

This program is the 2nd part of a three part workshop on The Relationship Between Ownership Goals & Objectives to On-the-Ground Practices. The 3rd program in the series will be held on August 25th.

In this session, participants will

  • At the woodlot, look at and discuss management options based on Goals & Objectives from Part 1.
  • Discuss silvicultural prescriptions/practices based on these goals, considering soils, species, site, markets, etc.
  • Offer and discuss on-the-ground practices, equipment, and technologies best suited to achieve the best possible results.
