Penn State Extension will hold two one-hour Seeing Past the Green – Managing High-Graded Woodlots webinars on November 10th at noon & 7 pm.

High-grading, a commonly used method to harvest timber on private forests in Pennsylvania, involves the removal of the most economically valuable trees now without thought about future values.

Caring for high-graded forests often presents landowners with unique challenges and considerations. These webinars will cover common characteristics of forests that have been high-graded in the past, and strategies to improve the quality of high-graded woodlots.

To take part in one of these webinars, register at https://extension.psu.edu/pennsylvania-forest-seminar-seeing-past-the-green-managing-high-graded-woodlots?j=561805&sfmc_sub=74322827&l=159_HTML&u=11879182&mid=7234940&jb=30&utm_medium=email&utm_source=MarketingCloud&utm_campaign=FORS-2020-AUG-19-GN-EM-PAFORESTWEBINAR-SEP-OCT-2nd&utm_content=FORS-2020-AUG-19-GN-EM-PAFORESTWEBINAR-SEP-OCT-2nd&subscriberkey=0030W00003qskRtQAI
