Speakers from municipalities across Massachusetts will discuss their experiences managing town land, including timber harvesting, wildlife habitat improvement, and prescribed burning. Speakers will explain how they engaged their community in these projects and the funding sources they used.
Michael Downey, the Forest Stewardship Program Service Forester, will discuss the program and options for funding sources for these projects.
