As emerald ash borer spreads across the region, many landowners are asking what it means for their woods and what steps they can take.

Vermont Woodlands Association will hold a Managing Your Woods with Emerald Ash Borer Walk at Clover Hill Tree Farm in South Strafford, VT on Saturday, May 30th from 9 to 11 am.

Join VWA at Clover Hill Tree Farm, where landowner hosts David Pagenelli (also a VT County Forester with VT FPR) and Judith Falk will guide a walk through a recent harvest.

They will share practical strategies for management, recognizing signs and symptoms of EAB infestation, and understanding your options.

Together, we’ll explore approaches to good forestry, including ways to encourage ash regeneration while recouping the value of ash and keeping it on the landscape into the future.
