Are you curious about the role of mycorrhizal fungi in forest ecosystems or want to know how mycorrhizal fungi could interact with silviculture?

UVM Extension Forestry will hold a Mycorrhizal Fungi in Northeastern Forests webinar on February 21st from 1 to 2:15 pm

In this webinar, Dr. Amelia Fitch and Eva Legge will outline the foundations of the mycorrhizal-plant symbiosis and explore how mycorrhizal fungi affect forest diversity, regeneration, and soil functions.

Then they will showcase the current silviculture-related work from northeastern forests to set the stage of where we are in our understanding and which questions are left to answer.
