National Tree Farmer of the Year webinar

The American Tree Farm System will hold a National Tree Farmer of the Year webinar on May 8^th at 3 pm EDT.

Dave New, the 2019 Outstanding Tree Farmer of the Year, will tell the story of his family’s Nourse Tree Farm

This presentation can be described as being short on technical details and long on pictures and story telling.  Topics touched on include the history of the farm, the four ATFS precepts of  Wood, Wildlife, Water, and Recreation, as well as succession planning, and salmon stream restoration.  Videos include 3 produced by the Washington Tree Farm Committee, and one by the American Forest Foundation.
