UNH Extension will hold an Oak Health and Management workshop at the Broken Ground Forest in Concord, NH on October 4th from 5 to 6:30 pm
If you’ve noticed or heard about the oak defoliation after the late spring frost this year and/or spongy moth defoliation in the last one or two years and wondered what the effects are on forest health and the future of the oak trees affected, then this workshop is for you!
Join industry specialists for the low down on recent events, insect pests, diseases, and the effects on oak and overall forest health and management.
This event will be an outdoor walking tour on an early “Oaktober” evening. Please come prepared for the weather, rain or shine.
Cost of this program is $10 for NHTOA members, $15 for non-members.
