The Forest Stewards Guild will hold a Virtual Townhall for Landowners on Oak Resiliency in Southern New England  on February 2nd from Noon – 1 p.m.

Oak trees are iconic in southern New England, dominating seventy percent of the region’s forests. Most of those forests are owned and cared for by family forest owners, like you. These forests face many threats to their long-term health and ability to grow.

How can landowners address challenges such as climate change, deer browsing, and gypsy moth, and other forest pests to keep their oak trees healthy?

Join us to discuss with wildlife and forestry professionals what actions you can take to promote oak in your woods.

To take part, register at https://foreststewardsguild.org/event/landowner-virtual-townhall-oak-resiliency-in-southern-new-england/

Landowners are also invited to take part in a follow-up questions and answers session on Saturday, February 6th at 9 a.m.

Participants can have access to the virtual town hall recording to watch before joining the Q&A.  To take part in the Q&A session on February 6th, register at https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0vdO2qqj4rH9FfqzX1iK2CCuzmDb2O9YJm
