Massachusetts Project Learning Tree will hold an Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood and Project Learning Tree’s classic PreK-8 Curriculum workshop for in-school, O.S.T. and Early Childhood Educators on Saturday, February 23rd at the Regatta Point Conference Room at Quinsigamond State Park in Worcester from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Project Learning Tree’s award-winning, “hands-on minds-on” curriculum connects with a variety of subjects while focusing on the natural world and our place in it.  Activities and experiences in the curriculum are flexible for educators and engaging for children.

In this facilitated, collegial-style workshop, model, discuss and apply PLT’s materials to your teaching situation. Learn about its abundant on-line, supplemental resources.  The focus is on PreK – Grade 5, but all educators are welcome.

Cost of the workshop is $36 per person.  Participants receive PLT’s classic PreK-8 Curriculum Guide and the Early Childhood Experiences module with activities and supporting materials.  Convenient location with free on-site parking.

For questions or to pre-register by February 16, please email Gini.Traub@state.ma.us or call 617/699-2387 (cell).

Project Learning Tree is the environmental education program of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative and is sponsored in Massachusetts by the Department of Conservation and Recreation with support from the Massachusetts Forest Alliance.
