Massachusetts Project Learning Tree will hold an Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood workshop for PreK-K Educators on Saturday, June 1, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Borderland State Park Visitor Center in North Easton, Massachusetts

This fun, hands-on workshop features the award-winning Project Learning Tree® (PLT) curriculum to connect young learners, age 3-6, with the natural world.  PLT’s inquiry-based, teacher-led activities and child-directed experiences incorporate science, social studies, math, language arts, art and music.  They are adaptable to a variety of situations and follow typical preschool routines.

Teachers from early learning centers, public and private schools, non-formal educators, and anyone wanting to bring the environment into their work with young children are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Cost of this workshop is $16  including the curriculum guide jam-packed with exciting, ready-to-use activities, an accompanying musical CD,  a Certificate of Completion, and handouts.

To register, contact Gini Traub, workshop facilitator, at  Gini.Traub@mass.gov or call 617/699-2387 cell, by Saturday, May 25.
