Vermont Woodlands Association will hold a Reading the Vermont Woods: A Virtual Experience online program with Tom Wessels on Wednesday, September 4th from Noon to 1 pm.
Tom Wessels is the renowned terrestrial ecologist and author of Reading the Forested Landscape. During this webinar, Tom will provide an introduction to using tree growth, species composition, and other features to understand the history of a site.
Then, Tom will do some “live” interpretation from participant photos (see below to submit photos of features you’d like Tom to share his thoughts about). Don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity- you’ll never look at the woods the same way again!
