UNH Extension will hold a Safe Trucking workshop at 56 Old Suncook Road in Concord, NH on April 29th from 8 to 10 am.

This workshop will include an overview of forest products trucking industry rules, regulations, and safety.  Discussion topics cover transportation of logs, pulpwood, and chips, axle weight limits, overall weight limits, load securement. fines, transportation of hazardous materials, CDL licensing options, and the applicability of new laws surrounding vehicle inspections and confusion regarding who may or may not be exempt.
