UNH Extension will hold a Science of Forest Carbon and Examining Forest Carbon Markets  program at the North Country Resource Center in Lancaster, NH on June 7th from 4 to 6 pm.

This program  in-person or virtually will discuss forest carbon in the Northeast.

Matt Kelly, Extension’s Cheshire County Forester, Gabe Roxby, NH NRCS, and Charles Levesque, Securing Northeast Forest Carbon Program, will present and lead a discussion on forest carbon science, forest management considerations, and forest carbon markets in the northeast.

This program will be followed by Forest Carbon Field Trips in Lancaster and Tamworth on June 8th, and North Haverhill on June 15th
