New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association will hold a Softwood Log Bucking & Lumber Sales workshop on April 17th from 8 am to Noon at DH Hardwick & Sons in Bennington, NH

In this latest lumber market change, log specs and grade have become increasingly important. This workshop will explain how log defects effect the mill process and marketing of lumber.

Karla Allen, Forester for Hancock Lumber will discuss what sawmills are looking for and why.  The workshop will show how to optimize less than ideal logs.

Cost of this workshop is $75 for NHTOA member,  $125 for non-members.
