Cornell Cooperative Extension will hold two one-hour Forest Connect webinars on Spotted Lantern Fly: Understanding the Ecology and Threat of this pest, on October 16th at noon and 7 p.m.

The spotted lantern fly is an invasive pest that affects horticultural and agricultural crops, ornamentals, landscape, forests, and shade trees. Every resident of New York and neighboring states could potentially be affected if Spotted Lanternfly becomes established.

Tim Weigle from New York State IPM will provide a presentation on the ecology and potential threat from this pest which has become established in Pennsylvania.
