Stories in Stone Walk

Opacum Land Trust will hold a Stories in Stone Walk at the Stevens Brook Sichol Community Forest in Holland, MA on Saturday June 6^th from 10 am to Noon.

This walk will explore a portion of Holland’s Stevens Brook Sichol Community Forest, taking a 1 3/4-mile hike along a beautiful, forested stream.

Along the way, we will examine stone walls, other stone artifacts, and observe happenings in nature throughout the property.

This is considered an easy walk with a few steep sections; please wear sturdy footwear.

Parking: We will meet at the trailhead on Blodgett Road, a parking lot can be found on the left side of the road.

*Please bring water, sturdy close-toed shoes, insect repellent and take precautions against ticks. Some sections of the trail are uphill.
