Vermont Woodlands Association will hold a Tree Planting webinar on May 19th from 5:30 to 7 pm.
In this online roundtable, VWA will be joined by three tree planting experts, Katharine Kain from the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Althea Dacey from Redstart Natural Resource Management, and Peter Clark from the University of Vermont.
These three will go over the basics of tree planting for landowners including where to plant, when to plant, and why to plant. They will also discuss how to plant species that will be well adapted to the future climate in Vermont.
