The Biden Administration’s emphasis on climate change has brought renewed interest in a full suite of energy technology and natural climate solutions, including biomass energy from hazardous fuels and managed forest systems. Some consider bioenergy from forests an important component in the transition away from fossil fuels while cutting greenhouse emissions. To others, efforts to scale up bioenergy from forests raises concerns about natural resource demands and larger sustainability priorities.

Yale Forest Forum is holding a speaker series on The Future of Forest Products in a Changing Climate: Bioenergy from Forests on Tuesdays from February 1st to April 26th from 11:30 am to 12:10 pm EST.

On April 19th, Ann Bartuska from Resouces for the Future will discuss U S & Global Policy related to Forest Bioenergy
