Northern Woodlands will hold an in-person and online Understanding Forest Carbon & Climate Adaptation program at the Howe Library in Hanover, NH on March 11th from 7 to 8 pm.

Forest ecologist, tree physiologist, and assistant professor of forestry at University of Vermont Extension Dr. Alexandra (Ali) Kosiba will discuss the forest carbon cycle, northeastern forests’ role in mitigating the impacts of climate change, and how decision makers can help maintain climate-resilient forests.
