Urban Forestry, Community & Wood Utilization webinar

The U S Forest Service’s Northern Research station will hold an Urban Forestry, Community & Wood Utilization webinar on Thursday, November 17^th from 2 to 3 pm EST.

Presentations in this webinar will include:

• The science and practice of urban silviculture, presented by Nancy Sonti and Rich Hallett
• Expanding urban wood utilization, presented by Charlie Becker
• Not by trees alone: Centering community in urban forestry, presented by Lindsay Campbell
• This webinar is one of a series of one hour SCIENCE x Forests webinars the U S Forest Service’s Northern Research Station will hold each afternoon during the week of November 14^th to 18^th to highlight research regarding forests. The webinars will be held between 2 and 3 pm EST.
