The New Jersey Forestry Association will hold a 90 minute Primer on Urban Forestry online program on Thursday, November 19th from 7 to 8:30 pm.
Pam Zipse, Outreach Coordinator for the Rutgers Urban Forestry Program, will present an overview of what is meant by the term Urban Forestry, some important considerations in this context of Forestry, and tips for how to get involved in the State’s Urban Forestry Program in your community. We will also present a student project completed over the summer comparing the accuracy of several tree identification phone apps.
