New This Year: Family-Friendly Afternoon Breakout Sessions!
This year we are offering a family friendly breakout session track. Bring the next generation of forest stewards for hands-on session designed for kids ages 7-14! Led by Rebecca Roy, Vermont’s Project Learning Tree (PLT) Coordinator, these interactive activities will introduce children to the wonders of Vermont’s forests through exploration and play. Kids will have the chance to build bluebird houses, dissect owl pellets, and engage in a variety of fun learning experiences from PLT guides, all while connecting with the unique habitats around them. Expect to spend time outdoors discovering different landscapes—so dress for the weather and bring a spirit of adventure!
Pre-registration is required. Please register by April 8th. The registration fee is:
- $40 for VWA Members and VT Tree Farmers (and their guests)
- $50 for Others (and their guests)
- $20 for Students
- Kids under 16 are free, but please let us know they are coming!
