The U.S. Forest Service will hold a Wood Innovations Grants Program webinar on November 14th at 1 pm.
The Wood Innovations Grants Program’s goal is to expand and accelerate wood energy and wood products markets throughout the United States to support forest management needs on National Forest System and other forest lands. The request for proposals (RFP) for the wood innovations grant program is now open and proposals are due January 15, 2020.
There are multiple priorities that this RFP is geared towards that range from improving forest health and reducing forest management costs to promoting economic and environmental health of communities.
In this 1 hour webinar, Wood Innovations Coordinator Kevin Naranjo will describe the priority areas for the grants and provide descriptions of the types of projects that might be funded. In addition, Kevin will share some suggestions for creating a successful proposal including examples and critical components.
After a brief presentation, there will be a question and answer session for all attendees.
