UNH Cooperative Extension will hold a Woodlot Evaluation & Economics workshop at the Society for Protection of New Hampshire Forests Conservation Center in Concord on June 14th from 6 – 7:30 p.m.
Most woodlot owners will sell timber at some point during their tenure. This workshop will explain how trees, sawlogs, and other forest products are measured and sold and how foresters and logging contractors determine stumpage prices.
Join Andy Fast, UNH Cooperative Extension Forest Industry Specialist, and Greg Jordan, Rockingham County Extension Forester for a review of the economics of owning and managing a woodlot in NH.
Cost is $15 for NHTOA members, $25 for non-members. (A light dinner will be provided.)
