Vermont Land Trust
The hemlock trees we love for their majesty, strength, and incredible value to wildlife (think winter deer yards, brook trout habitat, and nesting for many warblers) are being endangered by a tiny exotic insect.
Vermont Land Trust will hold a You and the Future of Hemlocks in Vermont webinar on December 15th from noon to 1 pm.
In this webinar, presented by Savannah Ferreira from the Vermont Department ofc Forests and Pieter van Loon from VLT, participants can learn how what they can do to help keep this keystone species a part of our forests.
