Forest Alliance Seeking Nominations for Annual Awards

Forest Alliance Seeking Nominations for Annual Awards

Each year, the Forest Alliance gives out awards at its Annual Meeting in the fall. Two of these awards are based on nominations from the public.

The Douglas B. Cook Wood Producer of the Year Award honors a logger or forest products professional. It’s named for the late Doug Cook, an MFA board member and owner of Cook Forest Products.

The Howard F. Mason Forester of the Year Award honors a forester. It’s named for the late Howard F. Mason, who was a pioneering forester for the Peck Lumber company.

You can fill out an online nomination form or print a paper form to mail in. Nominations are due by August 1.
