This popular MassCEC program has been extended! You now have until Setember 25th to replace a non-EPA certified wood stove with a new, EPA certified stove. You should first contact a participating stove professional who will submit the rebate application on your behalf. See the MassCEC’s website for more details about the program and to locate a participating stove professional.
You may be eligible for a rebate of up to $1,250, or $2,750 if you qualify under the MassCEC’s low-income rebate category.
Replacing an older wood stove is one of the most effective ways to lower your emissions and get more heat from using the same amount of wood fuel. Now, while your cordwood is seasoning, it’s the perfect time to install a new wood stove.
