Managing Forests to Protect Water Quality Tour

Want to find out how the forests bordering the Quabbin Reservoir are managed to protect the quality of the drinking water?  If so, you can find out at DCR’s Watershed Forest Management Tour that will be held in New Salem on November 12th from 1 to 4 pm.

DCR foresters will lead the tour at the Quabbin from the Forestry Office on Elm Street in New Salem opposite Gate 29.

Participants should wear sturdy shoes, long pants and bring repellant for ticks.
